test campaigns

We offer carrying out the following actions as an ESC / RSC Test Coordinator:

Compatibility tests of On-board ERTMS and Trackside ERTMS by an independent Center for Rolling Stock Analysis (Ośrodek Analiz Taboru), a part of CERTA JN organizational structure, which:

- is an ESC / RSC Test Coordinator following PKP PLK (Polish Railways) procedures Ie-128 and Ie-129,
- has an agreement with PLK - BaiT for being the ESC / RSC Test Coordinator,

- has agreements with ZLK Kielce (CMK, ESC-PL-01-L1), ZLK Wrocław (E-30, ESC-PL-04-L2), ZLK Olsztyn (E-65, ESC-PL-05-L2), ZLK Gdynia (E-65, ESC-PL-06-L2),

- carries out all possible test types, including on railway line No. 356 Poznań Wschód – Wągrowiec (ESC-PL-02-L1LS),

- coordinates the carrying out of tests between PLK, the Carrier, Rolling Stock Manufacturer and if necessary, with the Rolling Stock Security,

- carries out tests with their experts being present on the Rolling Stock during test runs on an active track (according to timetables) and on closed track (according to regulations),

- prepares reports of test runs in accordance with Ie-128 and UTK (Office of Railway Transport) guidelines,

- cooperates with PLK – BaiT, for PLK to agree on test reports in accordance with Ie-128.

Assessment of tests by a Notified Body CERTA JN:
- CERTA JN carries out test assessments and accepts test campaigns, in accordance with “Control-command and signalling” TSI p. 6.3.3.1, which in turn enables the Manufacturer and Rolling Stock Manager to issue a Statement of Compatibility between On-board ETCS and Trackside ETCS.
